Donald Trump was indicted by a grand jury in Manhattan on Thursday, March 30, 2023, making him the first former president to face criminal charges. Before arriving to New York the following Tuesday, supporters gathered outside Mar-a-Lago in Palm Beach, Florida.
Over two months later, on June 13, 2023 he was arraigned in Miami, Florida, facing 37 federal charges following the unsealing of a federal indictment accusing him of mishandling classified documents, obstruction and unlawful retention of defense information.
