Donald Trump was indicted by a grand jury in Manhattan on Thursday, March 30, 2023, making him the first former president to face criminal charges. Before arriving to New York the following Tuesday, supporters gathered outside Mar-a-Lago in Palm Beach, Florida.
Over two months later, following the unsealing of a federal indictment accusing him of mishandling classified documents, Trump is facing 37 federal charges, including obstruction and unlawful retention of defense information.
